The Animal Ordinance Enforcement Officer is responsible for enforcing Wayne's animal ordinance. Many of his duties include investigating complaints of animal abuse, animal bites, stray animals, and licensing violations. The City's Animal Control Ordinance requires the wearing of a license tag by all dogs four months of age or older and further provides that only two dogs may be licensed per residential household.
